Relax & enjoy panoramic mountain views in a custom designed chalet completed in 2015 just one mile from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. You will find this charming getaway secluded on 10 acres of private property with modern amenities & easy access to the farmer's market, grocers & several local eateries. Walk across the street to the Glacier Wilderness Guides to book a day of whitewater rafting, guided hiking, and/or horseback riding.

One of 5 spacious chalets with stunning mountain views just minutes from Glacier National Park. This 1500 square foot chalet has 3 bedrooms plus a loft, sleeping 6 in beds. The lower level has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with twin bunk beds. It also has a washer/dryer, walkout patio, and family room. The main floor has a master bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, dining table, and large walkout deck and BBQ grill. Upstairs has a reading room, couch and lounge chair. Equipped with A/C and fans, and also has a washer and dryer on the lower level.

Relax on the deck and watch the alpenglow sunset over Strawberry, Chocolate drop and Dessert mountain.

Clean and sunny home close to the entrance to Glacier National Park. Well suited for groups. Check-in was easy and the home felt new and fresh. There were multiple cans of bear spray available for use, which was a nice extra/bonus

What a great property and so convenient to the west entrance of Glacier! Clean and plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out, cook meals, do laundry etc. owner provides lots of info about the surrounding area and responsive to questions. What a location and view!
Tucked away of the main road, yet minutes from the park entrance I’m not sure you could have a better location outside the park. We stayed in chalet A. I think it has the best view of all five. The property is spacious and had everything we needed. The deck and grill were perfect for an evening of relaxing. Highly recommend this property and host!

Great location for family trip to Glacier
This was a great place for our early summer trip to Glacier. The chalet was generously appointed - laundry detergent, dish soap, some shampoo, conditioner, dish sponges, dish soap, coffee filters, even olive oil and some sugar, other basics for cooking. These supplies were more than we’ve had at most other VRBO’s in Florida. The location was super convenient to the West Glacier park entrance. We had a family of four and it was more space than we needed but was nice to have. Keep in mind it has 1 bathroom if you have a larger group. They had a bunch of useful guide books for hiking in the area, books for all ages, and board games, too. We would definetly recommend this chalet and would stay gladly stay again.

Perfect Location
This location is perfect, and the cabin is perfect for five of us to spread out! Great table for meals, couches to relax, huge windows with a view of the mountains over the trees, and very easy access to the park and outdoor activities. Safe area for a jog right on the bike trail. Main floor bedroom could use a new mattress and a bed frame that doesn’t creak with every movement. But seriously a tremendous spot, and the hosts were so quick to respond in person (like within 2 minutes!) when we struggled with the front door lock. We would totally stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay!
The view from our chalet was wonderful, and it was obvious particular care had been given to the crystal clear cleanliness of the windows and style of blinds. It’s the small things that count, and little details made our stay quite comfortable. Our only minor qualms were with the quality of the knives in the kitchen, the lack of laundry detergent on hand for cleaning up after ourselves, and the difficulty we had using the key (it was really hard to lock/unlock the front door). During our stay we saw deer and turkeys and other wildlife right outside our door, and the BBQ was great. If you’re a runner, you’ll enjoy an amazing 5 mile route with hills and gorgeous scenery. We recommend arriving in Whitefish by train/plane to rent a car before driving to the chalet to avoid a one hour wait for an $80 taxi ride in to Kalispell (however, there is a paved bike trail from West Glacier proper to the chalets).

We enjoyed are stay. I would suggest that an outside light be left on for those checking in after dark. You have to walk up a flight of stairs and find the lock box.

First Time to GNP
The chalet is very close to GNP. It was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. It was especially nice to have things like dish detergent, hand soap, trash bags, etc. provided so we did not have to buy these things ourselves only to throw them out in a few days because we were flying home. We were very lucky to have great weather. We had cool mornings and warm afternoons with only a few sprinkles on our first day there. There was also a pizza place right across the street that was very good.
