"Literally the perfect accommodation. Clean, reasonably priced, great bar and restaurant area, with all rooms and common areas having superb views. The included breakfasts were outstanding, with friendly and hospitable staff. Only criticism (and it really had nothing to do with the accommodation experience itself) was that the bar staff didn’t understand how the happy hour worked and after giving me incorrect information about what beers and wine were included became snooty after I changed my order. This was despite conceding she had (accidentally) misled me. When the senior barman sorted it out you could see that she still had no intention of trying to understand how the happy hour worked. Still didn’t change our experience, would recommend the Lakes Hotel to everyone."
