"Most beautiful country home to stay in. Very cozy and warm. Hosts were very nice and we enjoyed our chats with them. It’s a working farm and my husband coming from the farm really enjoyed that. Our best stay here in Wales or Britain as we are here for 6 weeks in all. Very nice walks on the road and the villages were beautiful. Very quiet stay as well and the bed was excellent. "We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"Really great place to stay for large group get together, we had 6 adults and 4 kids staying at one point and it didn’t feel crowded at all! The place was really clean and the grounds and amenities were really excellent. We met one of the hosts and he was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to go for. "Rose Cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed for a short break. Sue the host was lovely and left a pint of milk in the fridge and popped round to put the heating on for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for visiting the surrounding area. We had a wonderful break and would definitely return. There was a lovely pub called The Duck at Burtle which was very nice and about 15 mins drive."
