"The property was great. Plenty to do at the resort. The Food and Service at the main restaurant was the worst. I hate to write this but it was awful. They need to clean house and start over. The bartenders were great! "

"This was my second time at this hotel/motel. Like the first stay, the room was clean with lots of clean towels in the bathroom. All of the rooms have a good size refrigerator so you can empty your cooler for the night. The ice maker in the lobby works so you can add a little ice to your cooler in the morning. "We reserved this cabin while searching for future vacations in Deep Creek. Very roomy attractive cabin among several individual cabins conveniently in McHenry. We were greeted by very friendly Jenner who gave us the checking info and directions for parking in front of the cabin. Two queen beds and modern kitchenette, bathroom and TV . Very close to grocery store, restaurants and coffee. More indoor lighting would have been welcome. "

"The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire property is very dated and could use a lot of updating. The hall carpets were dingy and needed vacuuming. The mini refrigerator in the room wasn't cold. The pool and hot tub were closed for repair/renovation during our stay. I felt safe and it was pretty quiet. It was fine for my one night stay to visit with family. "

"You get what you pay for. The check-in was fine, the room had a terrible odor. The heater/air conditioner was very noisy and missing vent pieces. Overall it was a very cheap place to stay, I didn’t have any big issues. "
