Very shabby entrance bedroom window over looked rubbish mattress and old bedding didn't like see though shower in a small bedroom but very warm and clean bedding and lots of hot water and nice TV with lots of channels

Property in need of repair and maintenance all over hand rails on stairs not fixed properly very loose good do with a good clean electrical plugs all had extension leads running from them to boil a kettle of water very dangerous also no hot water running from taps in shower room

Good value for money at this off season period
The Hotel is a little dated however the manager made up for this as nothing extre was too much trouble for him. We arrive before the check in time as we had to travel to Bristol to see Concorde at 16.00 and we were allowec access tp our room early.

Suite (06) large, very comfortable, clean, with small amenities, hot shower, recently renovated, calm environment, helpful staff. Externally there is a communal space, with a small refrigerator, microwave, and several tables.

Stay away from this dump, i walked into my room, light hanging of wall (wires exposed), yale lock fell of in my hand, balcony doors dont lock, dirty floor, dirty shower. (I got all the proof) Its a joke really. I didnt even stay there. I got a premier inn instead!

I'd been staying in Weston and decided to stay an extra night and just wanted somewhere to hang my hat, so I booked this "gem" last minute, online. Wall lamp held together with sellotape, heavy duty tea/coffee table sited nowhere near a plug socket to plug in the kettle. Nearest socket hanging off the wall and I had to drag the table over to it in order to make a cup of tea. Best of the bunch...a "thing" behind the toilet and shower room door with a sharp screw sticking out. Finally, it's a good thing I don't have mobility problems, I was up on the top floor and the lift was out of order. The biggest laugh was that on the reception they had tons of their own postcards describing the Savoy as "a quietly situated modern hotel." I hardly saw any staff at all, although the manager very kindly let me check in way before I was meant to. This was the only positive about staying at the Savoy. In the morning when I left at around 09.15, there was no staff anywhere to be seen. I decided to have a wander around and my observation is that this hotel is falling to bits. It's dirty and dangerous to vulnerable people. I would never stay here again. The Savoy makes Fawlty Towers look like the Park Lane Hilton, it's an absolute disgrace.

I tried to cancel my reservation due to the storm which bought a risk to life in the area. The staff and the manager did not see this as a reasonable excuse for cancelling a reservation despite the dangerous weather right outside their door. A bit of common sense would go along way in training their staff. And to receive a phonecall after midnight asking if i had checked in okay despite me telling them on the phone earlier in the day that i will not be coming. Very unprofessional

Beautiful sea view
Beautiful sea view from our shared balcony which really could of done with a clean. Staff were lovely and could not do enough. They let us check in early. We had the the quad family room. Very quite and with free parking on site.

The property looks like it is in the process of being done up. That said our room was all new the carpets beds bathroom curtains were all lovely. Bit of a language barrier asking the house cleaning men for stuff. The balcony was lovely and big. Nice to sit and watch the sea. Will be returning
