Very clean and tidy. The chap on reception changed our room with out asking when he saw that my wife was using a crutch to walk. Very kind and very thoughtful of him.

Do not opt for a single bed.
£140 for a one bed room on a Tuesday evening left me feeling somewhat aggrieved, especially with breakfast on top of that. Pokey room with a small single bed and the lightest of bedlinen gave a terrible night’s sleep. Fair play, the heating/aircon worked well.

Our room overlooked the inner courtyard so was quiet overnight. The room was clean and quite well furnished. The bed was however not to our taste being over soft resulting in my having a sore back after three nights. The food is like most hotels these days over priced and nothing special. £14 each for breakfast seems very high when some of their main competitors include it in the price at a similar room rate. The hotel is right in the town so access to shops, cafes and restaurants is easy. They are next door to a Waitrose which provided us with food for lunch on our travels every day. We were visiting Brooklands Museum which is only a short drive from the hotel. This was our second stay the hotel so I guess we must think it’s okay, but nothing special just okay.

Bad Experience
I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. There was an issue with our booking, and despite it being a clear mistake on our end, the staff were unhelpful and refused to resolve it properly. To make matters worse, the breakfast was awful. The options were limited, the food was stale, and nothing tasted fresh. It was obvious that little care was put into the quality of the food. Overall, poor service and a disappointing stay. I would strongly suggest finding a different hotel.
