The hosts Keith &Carol were very welcoming , Breakfast was piping hot and plenty of it, room was everything you cold wish for, comfortable bed , plenty of hot water, tea & coffee facilities , would deffinatly recommend staying here

Having read excellent reviews about the Stanley Guest House we decided to stay there. We were not disappointed, the place was very clean and tidy. Breakfast room was spotless and the food was well presented. Keith and Carol were very welcoming and friendly. We will certainly stay again.

We very much liked the quiet area in which the property was located. It is off the busiest streets but in easy walking distance of the excellent local bus services and only 12 minutes walk from the railway station. We stayed four nights with bed and breakfast and were very happy with our room which was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb in every respect and we noted that other guests were well catered for with 'custom' requests. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and provided a wealth of local information. All in all, this was excellent!

Would defo recommend if going to Weymouth
We were allowed to check in earlier then expected lovely couple Keith and carol made us feel so welcome explained everything we needed to know, very friendly lovely rooms very comfortable bed nice and spacious (room1) lovely breakfast good choice of cereal. Always friendly and happy to help couldn’t have been a nicer stay! Will defo be back next year!!

Situated 10 mins from the Town centre it’s a Great b&b with excellent people that run it. Free parking is available and the Breakfast was exactly how you would want it - and more. I would recommend this to anyone and many thanks for making our stay in Weymouth that much better.

Very niceB&B
The guest house was welcoming and very clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast from cereal to full English, scrambled eggs were light, tasty and fluffy. The room itself(ground) was very comfortable and cosy with plenty of wall sockets. Hairdryer if needed. Yes/coffee supplied and topped up in room. The B&B is in a good position quiet not too far from the front but also not to near. Had two very good nights sleep. Did visit the park pub at the bottom of the road but was not impressed by the really bad smell as you entered( not sure what it was but couldn’t get out quick enough) behind the bar was two dogs one excessively barking until the landlady took the hint it was too much then told someone to take him upstairs. We took our drinks in the garden( due to the smell making me want to vomit) Sat for five minutes when I man came out saying he was on poop duty as there were dogs in earlier???? Not sure if it was the owners or customers. We finished our drinks ( mine I threw) then left. You will have to make your own mind up if the park pub is worth a visit but we won’t.

Lovely stay.
Had a lovely couple of nights at the Guest House. Keith was really welcoming and run through everything with us before leaving us to our own devices. Bed was super comfy, could have slept all day on it! The guest house is well within walking distance to the promenade as well, definitely can't complain at that!

Great place to stay in Weymouth - has parking and is less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast was great and on our first morning we were out early so Keith made sure we had bacon sandwiches to take with us. The hosts couldn't make us feel more welcome!

Great Little Guesthouse
Could not fault anything at The Stanley. We felt very welcomed and the host was very attentive. Our room was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The location was great, close to the beach, and there's a small amount of parking on site. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was plenty to be had of it! Would definitely stay here again when we return to Weymouth and would recommend it to anyone.

Had a lovely stay. Very welcoming hosts. Very friendly with a great sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble. Only thing I would say is that our towels were looking a little tired ! Possibly need replacing ? Wasn't an issue. Just my opinion. Lovely home cooked breakfast. Plenty of it ! Will certainly be coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay. Room was everything perfect.
