"We stayed here for a gig (BFMV & Trivium) and I can’t say anything bad. Reading some of the other reviews did make me nervous about my stay but the room me and my fiancè had was clean, tidy and warm. We left our luggage in the room and locked the door behind us and everything was fine. The staff were lovely, when we came back in at 1am ish that night they were dealing with an unfortunate aggressive drunk guy at the doors and security handled him very very well without escalating the situation....

"We stayed as we booked the late swim and spa. Are room for three had two double beds and bathroom. Although dated and in need of a little attention it didn’t detract from our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel. The outside swim area was cold and we couldn’t stay in it for long. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Food was good and warm. Overall a great stay and would return."

"Lovely stay here! Excellent location, nicely furnished and good kitchen area. The only downside is the double bed isnt a double matress but two singles pushed together so a gap can sometimes form over time. However this doesnt bother us too much and we've stayed a few times and enjoyed."

"Great location, beds a bit firm for my liking but it’s all personal preference. 2nd bedroom was turned into single beds but the positioning of the beds meant that the door didn’t close fully. Also the hall light was on a sensor and couldn’t find a switch to stop it - not great in the middle of the night when the door doesn’t close."

"Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"
