"Clearly a very unique property, that definitely would have been in its hay day incredible. Situated amongst an amazing gold course with incredible views, set in large grounds, with swimming pool, spa and tennis court, plus a winery to boot. Sadly you can see the property exterior/gardens/maintenance slowly deteriorating. The rooms are huge, very clean, and a little dated as well. "We really enjoyed our stay up in whatuwhiwhi, it was a last minute trip up for my partner's birthday weekend. The Bach had everything we needed and was in such a good spot near to so many surrounding beaches. Super easy contact with the hosts and nice tidy little cabin to stay in. Thanks for having us."

"We arrived in the dark & could not find the property, the letter box was not visible in the dark & the numbering in the street was a bit strange. Asked a friendly neighbour who had lights on. In the wind storm all the pot plants blew off the deck & the cover off the bbq & one of the outdoor chairs ended up next to the car some distance away. The entrance door was on a wind tunnel ‘ almost knocked me down trying to close it on several occasions. Just as an FYI. Be careful. Otherwise it was a neat...
