"I have the say the staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful I had hurt my leg a few days before the trip and hurt my self leaving the plane at Cork airport so by the time a arrived I wasn’t walking well and the staff made me feel as comfortable as possible and made sure to ask how I was doing on my last day. The breakfast was lovely and we made good use of the swimming pool. "

"Excellent hotel for facilities, location, comfort and courteous, professional friendly staff. This place ticks all the boxes and they have absolutely nailed hospitality from check in to check out. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we checked in which wasn’t a problem at all for us but the receptionist immediately offered as a free drink whilst we waited in the bar. Another €20 to spend in the restaurant. Pool and spa were lovely. Didn’t use the gym but those facilities looked very good too. Had dinner in The Grill Room, food was very good , presentation excellent and staff attentive but not overbearing - Just as it should be in a good restaurant. Room was large and had everything you could want/need. Plenty of towels, lots of lovely high quality (The White Company) toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee, safe and the largest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel bedroom. Beds super comfy too. Check out easy and staff happy to order a taxi for us to the airport which turned up within minutes and also provided us with a free eco friendly carton of water each for the journey. Highly recommend The River Lee and will definitely stay there again."

"What an absolute joyous experience! Colleen met us upon arrival and showed us around their wonderful place! It felt a bit like the Shire, really! Comfy little abodes and unusual structures. The yurt we stayed in was lovely and large. With wood heat we stayed very warm even on frosty nights! We had a camp fire and nice kitchen facilities. But the best part was all the critters!! There is a pig and ponies and a duck. My kids particularly enjoyed the kitty, "Tiger" who spent our nights snuggled up in out yurt! HIGHLY recommend this wonderful, out of the fast paced world little spot! CHEERS, to the beautiful Colleen!"

"Excellent, could not be better. Rooms very spacious, clean and modern. Had dinner which was lovely.. breakfast was grand. The rooms are way nicer and bigger than the rooms in the nearby hotel, The River Lee. "

"Great 3 days at this property! The main entrance was under construction during our stay but it didn't bother us at all. The rooms have all been updated, they were very clean, all 4 adults were comfortable and felt safe. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Cork. There is very limited parking in front of the hotel, we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, parked in a downtown parking garage and walked the 10 minutes back. The only caution is that the hotel is on a hill. If you have anyone with mobility issues, this could pose a problem with the amount of walking uphill."

"Elegant and charming hotel. Front desk staff, concierge, bar keep, and restaurant staff all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only negative is the hotel parking is about 6 blocks away, and if you are arriving or departing during busy times there is no where to safely pull over to load/unload your vehicle. But parking garage safe and easy. Breakfast spectacular. "
