"This home was very convenient for us - easy to get onto roads leading to the Caverns and Guadalupe. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. The Living Desert was a highlight in Carlsbad and the hike. We ate twice at El Jimador. The Cavern was amazing of course as were hikes in Guadalupe. Only issue some of us had that is not under the owners’ control was the three or four barking dogs in the neighborhood - they were quiet after dark tho. Pat"

"The house was cute, the neighborhood felt a little rough. Lots of wear and tear on the property (loose towel holders and outlets that were completely disconnected from the wall that we had to warn our children about). The property manager was very kind. I felt like the price was very steep for what we got and the fees made it outrageous."

Positives - large living room, kitchen and dining area, large converted garage for extra bedroom space, convenient to grocery stores and local attractions. GREAT wi-fi. Negatives - dishwasher does not work well. Family mentioned the rooms were "dark", and noticed multiple light bulbs were burned out. Both negatives were mentioned to the property owner for correction. ...

"7 college buddies stayed here while visiting the caverns. Sleeping arrangements were great. Nice tvs in every bedroom. Easy to find house."

"We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. My son slept in the office. He liked the privacy but he said the middle of the bed sunk a few inches away from the wall so he didn’t sleep well. We didn’t know if it was a folding bed that might not have locked the whole way or not. Other than that, he liked it a lot. Didn’t take long to get to the caverns. Very enjoyable trip!"

"Poor, unattractive neighborhood, dirt front yard without any landscaping and an old Dryer sitting on front porch, near front door. Living room looks baron with only a couch against one wall and TV. on the opposing wall. It is the only TV in the house, none in any bedroom, no dishwasher, no family dining area, no mirror in master bedroom, not even in connected half bath (over the sink?). Toilet paper too far to reach in main bathroom. Completely disappointed in property and price."

"Very warm welcome, spotlessly clean and modern - the TVs have built-in Chromecast is great. Beds very comfortable and even the pillows were really good! The only slight disappointment was breakfast, which was lacking in choice and quality. Even so, I would stay here again when in Carlsbad."
