Great Stay
We had a great stay. There were only 3 of us but the house would accommodate a lot more. The beds slept well and everything was just as described. My 88 y/o mom was with us and she insisted I tell you how much she loved all the horse decor! We enjoyed it and would recommend.

Bible Study Group Ark Meet-up
This was a cute, roomy apartment perfect for our group of 8 women who have been meeting in an online Bible Study Group for 6 years and decided to come together to meet in person. Each person had a clean comfortable bed, and the 2 bathrooms were more than sufficient to meet our needs. The kitchen was well equipped for our short stay - we didn't cook, but coffeemakers and microwave worked for us! The large kitchen table was great for game time and conversations. The location was convenient to the Ark Encounter and to local restaurants where we enjoyed friendly service and good food! Thanks for a great place for our meet-up Ark adventure!

This was reasonably priced for a four bedroom, two bathroom VRBO. There were a few issues. We couldn't get the TV to connect to internet but the contact person was there within 20 minutes and got it set up. The place was listed as smoke free but reeked of cigarette smoke when we arrived. A couple of the family members have asthma and reacted a little to the smoke. I'm a nurse and know secondhand smoke can linger in a building for up to 3 months so opening the windows helped a little but then we had flies because there are no screens on the windows. There was a cigarette butt right outside the door. It was a short stay and a bit of a whirlwind of a vacations so we didn't text management until we settled in the place the night before we left. They were very polite and said they would have sent someone to clean and spray had we called on the first night. While that might have helped the smell, it would do little to exhaust the smoke. We stripped our beds before we left and there was a blood stain on the mattress my sister had been sleeping on...gross! It's unfortunate because otherwise it was clean and perfect for a larger group. Management assured me they would address these issues however.

great launch spot for our trip to the Ark
This home is well suited for small children. Inside of home is nicely thought out. It was just a minute down the road to a wonderful Calvary Chapel church we visited. Very close to Ark Encounter and under an hour to the creation museum. The finishing touches and kitchen utensils and pans were pretty cheap and likely won't last long and the air to the bunk rooms needed better flow. Ceiling fans in each room did help. The house was very pretty inside. Nice appliances. Enjoyed cornhole outside. We'd stay again. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Great location
Great location for visiting the ark, and easy home to share between two families. Clearly a newer reno at the time of our stay, and everything was in great shape. Check-in had a slight hiccup (code wouldn't work), but a phone call resolved the issue fairly quickly.

Best place to stay!
My husband and I along with our 3 kids and my in-laws stayed here while on a trip to visit the Ark Encounter and to attend a conference at the Ark. This home was organized, very clean, spacious, and filled with everything you need and more. Susan and Steve were excellent hosts. Wonderful communication and made sure to check in to see if we had everything we needed. Susan has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The home was stocked with snacks, a coffee bar, games, magazines, and toys for the kids. The foosball table was a bit hit and kept our kids busy for hours. The home is very close to the Ark which was perfect for us as we were going back and forth to the conference. If we make it back out to this area, we would not stay anywhere else!

The owner was very nice and accommodating. Quickly replied back to any message I sent and the home was very clean. I really liked the fact they had things for young children to participate with. I have nothing bad to say about this place and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a place to stay near Noah’s Ark.

Choose this home to stay in!
We can’t say enough good things about the hosts and the home! The hosts were quick to respond to questions and kind. Just a pleasure to work with. The attention to detail and care they have put into their home is above and beyond. Our kids loved their room and the toys and we all enjoyed the family space. It is a great home to accommodate lots of people and more than fulfilled our needs for a family of eight. When we come back in the future or if someone needs a recommendation for a VRBO this home will be the one we will seek first.

Above and Beyond
We will be back and look forward to arranging another stay with you. Thank you for the beauty, impeccable cleanliness, creative actives for all ages, immediate attention to any questions, the kind of friendliness you want to take home with you, and quality of home that surpasses the price by far. I have to take a moment to credit the effort of organization that has been meticulously afforded to make this stay effortless. We were a group of seventeen, youth and adult mix that had to split into two homes. This location took the brunt of the gatherings, (meals, meetings, etc.), I can’t express how important it was for their grace to allow the influx of people during those times. They were encouraging and supportive. This location is run by a sweet, talented couple that fosters an environment for people to create beautiful memories. God bless your hearts and hands in everything you touch.

We absolutely loved staying here! Everything is so clean and decorated beautifully. There is plenty of room for everyone! I brought my kids (11,12,13) and my parents (70s) and my mil and grandma (80s & 90s) and every single one of us loved the place and felt very comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly, it was nice & cool. There were things for the kids to do (games, cards, TV) and the older folks were happy too. If you happen to forget anything, the hosts have thought of everything! There were plenty of little extras that they provided. The coffee was excellent, they even have creamer. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much to the hosts!!!!!!

The house was amazing! It had everything you would need. I'm talking plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Susan and Steve had everything stocked from laundry detergent, snacks, and variety of coffee k cups. Susan was in contact with me every step of the way and even sent event flyers of things that were going on in the local area at the time of our stay. I would have given the house, owners, and the experience 10 stars!

The Old Stonewall is THE place to stay in Williamstown
The property is simply amazing! It is comfortable, well-stocked, kid-friendly, and so clean and organized (move over Kondo). The hosts are amazing people and ensured we made the best memories. Everyone in our family had an amazing time and I looked like a superhero for finding accommodations that fit everyone’s needs. And, if we had forgotten ANYTHING…I’m sure we would have found it in the house or the hosts would have found it for us. Susan went above and beyond to help us celebrate my mom’s birthday with decorations and a cake. The BBQ within walking distance was delightful and the Ark was almost within walking distance. I can’t say enough about our wonderful stay. My 3-year-old granddaughter summed it up the best when I asked her what she enjoyed most about the trip and she said, “the house”! Hopefully, we can come and stay again in the future. I know I will be having friends visit the area and I am going to be recommending they stay at the Old Stone Wall.
