As parents/grandparents to 5 adult children and several grandchildren, our traditional Christmas gift for our family each year was a cabin weekend all together. But last Christmas Papa was dealing with terminal brain cancer and we could not make plans for 2024. He passed on Feb. 24th and after a few weeks I felt a desire to try to keep the tradition going on my own. I didn't hold out much hope that I could find a place I could afford on such short notice, but God is good and I discovered an opening at Angela's lakeside home. It was too early for lake swimming and I worried the grandkids would get bored. But the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna was a small miracle on it's own. The grandkids absolutely loved the pool and game room spending 90% of their time playing indoors! There were plenty of beds for everyone and everything was neat and clean. Angela was very kind and agreeable when I contacted her about an issue concerning accommodating a last minute special need for my daughter-in-law. (So grateful!) FYI there is no dishwasher but we preferred to wash and put away as we go, so not an issue for us. (We left some new dish drying towels behind if that's okay.) In case you need the pack 'n play, it is sized for a small infant not a toddler like our chunky little Julia! Also not an issue since we had one of our own. We had a great time and are so happy we discovered your wonderful place. We only wish "Papa" could have been with us. Blessings!
