Cozy houseboat located in the downtown Port City Marina nestled among The Cove Riverwalk Villas. It is centrally located between the Wilmington Convention Center and the new City Park and Amphitheater. Rare opportunity to stay not near the water but ON the water. Amazing views not only of the Cape Fear River but also of the beautiful yachts that visit and call Port City Marina home.

Beautiful open layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. First floor includes full kitchen, dining room, living room, one of the bedrooms and full bathroom that includes a washer and dryer. The second floor includes the master bedroom with a full bathroom and additional living room with sectional couch that includes a pullout queen sofa bed. The views from the spacious second floor outdoor patio (with retractable privacy fence) with sink and mini fridge and comfortable seating will have you planning your next visit. We are in a premier location with direct views of the Cape Fear River and the yachts in the marina.

Port City Marina is also a center for entertainment and dining along downtown Wilmington's Riverwalk, popular Front Street and the Historic District. If you love music, Downtown Wilmington is the place to be. There are concerts at Marina Grill, the Marina Pier and the Live Oak Amphitheater, all riverfront. You can enjoy this live music directly from our outdoor patio. Wilmington has been recently ranked as the top up-and-coming destination in the South.

Great Getaway for a weekend
The boathouse was just beautiful. My family enjoyed our weekend gateway. We will rent again and again but stay longer. The only thing I wished for was a list of walking distance to restaurants. Or should I say more food near the boat houses .

Lovely stay
We traveled to Wilmington for our oldest son's college visit, and I've been eyeing this houseboat for a while. So glad my family was finally able to stay in it! Peaceful stay in unique accommodations. Take in the town or stay put and relax, either way you can't go wrong. The property has everything you might need and more. The wifi is a bit spotty, if that's important to you. Definitely not a deal breaker for us. We enjoyed every moment!

Quiet Birthday Celebration
This property was beautiful and peaceful. The place was nicely decorated. For the property being pricey, the gravel parking lot and the unloading of luggage was very unexpected. One thing I can say is that we got in our steps while unloading. Next time we will bring our travel wagon. 😅. Other than that we enjoyed the stay!

Paradise on Water!
Beautiful scenery, excellent relaxing location with awesome amenities! This place is wonderful, exactly as seen in the photos! The yachts were gorgeous to look at, great music and food from the Marina Grill and very peaceful in the evenings. The houseboat does rock when the water has waves, which can sometimes be calming! Loved the modern decor, it's impeccably designed! This was an a great bucket list item!!! The host are SUPERB!

Perfect location with great view
The houseboat was a great location, just far enough from the densest crowds, but close enough to walk to restaurants. The upstairs patio was great for lounging, and ended up being the perfect vantage point for fireworks on July 4th. Any questions I had about parking were quickly resolved with a message Kelly. We are already looking for a time to come back!

Amazing Houseboat!
We had an amazing week on this beautiful houseboat!! After a long trip we were greeted by a basket of snacks and all the amenities you need to have a great holiday. The houseboat far exceeded our expectations and you cannot get better views than ones off the back deck. Kelly was great providing all the information needed, checkin and checkout were a breeze. We had a amazing time! I highly recommend renting Kelly and Patrick’s houseboat!

Family Weekend Getaway & Concert
The description and pictures of the property were spot on! Communication and responsiveness with the Patterson’s exceeded expectations. Marina location was very convenient to downtown Wilmington attractions. We stopped by the marina office to ask a question and the staff was very friendly and informative. Our teenager’s loved the house boat and have already asked when we will be going back. Very cool family getaway!

Great novel experience
We had a great time at this property, so much so, that we did a little research into investing in one ourselves. The location is perfect for walks on the river or to downtown. The property was clean and well stocked with whatever you could need for your stay. Sitting on the deck in the evenings was so peaceful. We will definitely do this again! Great host! Thank you!

Amazing place
The listing was accurate, the property was very clean, and communication with the owners was very easy. It was a very unique place to stay, and we were very very comfortable. About a 15 minute walk to the historic district, so very manageable without being right on top of all the noise. It is a quiet community, which we appreciated. As a bonus, the marina has live music on the pier in the summers on Friday nights and we had a blast listening to the concert from the deck, with the comfort of our own seats, food and beverages, and bathrooms. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again!
