"The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. I would recommend this property."

"We loved our stay at the Piano Suite. It was very large and had a wonderful kitchen and two pianos! The balcony was very nice and those beds were so comfortable! The hosts always responded quickly and we were able to rent a car spot too. We couldn’t ask for anything more. I’d highly recommend."

"We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."

However, amenities are very basic, a high-end hotel has no wash clothes in the room, Kleenex run out not replenish, only 1 flat pillow per person, and had to make use of the sofar cushion to fit my head while sleeping. Twice I called reception counter but never answered and had to go to the reception counter in person for service, I refused to go to the lobby myself for the second time. I would not give this hotel a thumb up for recommendations. "
