The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"The Railway View carriage was just delightful! It is small but perfectly set up. Not much storage for clothing but we managed. Perhaps a few more hooks to hang things would be useful. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee necessities after our long drive. We didn't want to leave!!"

"We were a group of 7 staying (4 adults, 3 children) for 3 nights. The cottage had everything we could need. There are 2 bedrooms perfectly set up for kids with the other 2 for adults. The bathrooms were decent and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more, although some cupboard space to store our food would have been nice.The outdoor dining space was very peaceful and pretty although a little overlooked. The estate is beautiful and the cottage is very close to the activity...

"Absolutely perfect weekend away with good friends. Such amazing facilities, the swimming pool is absolutely first class as is the dry sauna and steam room. We could not get enough of it! The games room with the air hockey and arcade game machine is a lovely touch too. Bedrooms and en suite beautiful and clean and the hosts/owners were so very pleasant and helpful and always there if we needed them. All in all I cannot rate this place highly enough and we will definitely be staying again!"

Great place to stay

"My stay was lovely, The staff in the hotel were exceptional, they could not do enough to help and make the stay the best it could be. In particular there was young man on in the evenings (Didn't catch his name) and a lady in the mornings (Also didn't catch her name) but they were amazing. Everyone was polite, and friendly, and made the stay fabulous. My room was quaint, but very clean and tidy, could not have asked for more."
