"I have stayed at this hotel 5 times now. The room had the heater go out and had to wait for about 1 hour or so for maintain to show up and replace the entire unit. Thank you rotate effort on a Friday evening. The breakfast was okay and at the bottom for a healthy meal. Hockey season is in full force and the local ice rink. A number of teams and players stayed at the hotel. Quiet time should be observed at 10 PM. The noise went on until 1 AM. We stayed in room 14 on 2nd floor."

"We were in town for a Thanksgiving weekend youth hockey tournament and we couldn’t have picked a better home base than the River Run Inn. Penny and her sidekick Coffee were delightful and made us feel at home from the moment we checked in. The location was perfect… Just a few steps removed from the more crowded downtown lodges with a wide lawn leading right to the river…which was somehow even more charming in the cold and snow. The town of Winthrop also charmed us well beyond our expectations....

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower Resort. Our unit was comfortable and clean. Very conveniently located to downtown Winthrop . The kitchen was well-equipped although I would prefer an actual coffee machine as opposed to the drip/thermos method provided. It was a great place to stay with dogs.
