"The location was great, the windows of the room was not adequate. Only one of 3 windows could be open and when you open thw window /thwre was no acxess to walk from the bed. The AC was none existance and on 49F temp evening the room was 73F inside! They switch us to another room at 11pm, but temp was probably 70f blowing hot air . Their Wify was Very Slow!"

"Was really a great experience staying here. Checked in early with no problem and accommodation was very clean and neat. Everything we needed was there. "Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. But it invited some bugs too.. and noise of trams& cars passing by. Extra towels would have been helpful, we had to wash...

"The property is spacious with loads of cupboard space. It is ideal for a family or friends get together. The location is in a quiet residential area, but proximity to the Euroairport and Basel makes it an ideal base. A good supermarket is only three minutes away for food and other supplies."

"Die Wohnung war von innen völlig in Ordnung - Möbel , Bodenbeläge, sonstige Einrichtung waren okay ! Die Lage war halt direkt an der Ortsdurchfahrt - der sehr kleine Balkon lag quasi fast über dieser ! Anhand der Bilder hatten wir das halt nicht erwartet ! Das Haus sah von außen verboten aus - rund herum Unkraut und Müll !! Auf keinen Fall nochmal !!!!!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location for travel in and out of Basel Bahnhof, and walking around central Basel. Service and the buffet breakfast are both very good. I had a cosy single room with thick window glazing to block most noise from the street below. I did not experience internal noise from other guests and slept well. The choice of eating options at the hotel and in it’s immediate vicinity is limited but there are great cafes and restaurants a short tram ride or a 10 minute away."

"Every two weeks I travel to my property in Italy and Basle is the perfect midway point from Calais so to find the Carathotel in the perfect location just off the motorway with a large free car park is fantastic.Always friendly staff (even during Covid)large rooms with the very much appreciated bathtub.But as others have mentioned the breakfast choice and quality is my main reason for staying there.
