"My friend and I had a great stay in the cabin. It was enough room for the 2 of us. Checking in and out was easy. The hot tub was really nice and clean! Cell service is a little spotty but to be expected in such a great/remote location. Would definitely recommend!"

I would just be mindful that you’re in the middle of nowhere and the closest store like Walmart or the gas station is about 30 mins away, so just prepare in advance for that. "Overall we enjoyed our stay, but they apparently have a hornet problem around the cabin. I got stung and had them chase me. The guys staying in the cabin next to us said they had some fly into the fire they had going at night. I had to kill 2 inside the cabin too. Also from the pictures it looks like the river is a lot closer than it actually is. They also expect you to drive your garbage 10 minutes down the road to put it in dumpsters. We only had our car and it was packed plus I’m not putting...

"Great place to stay for two or three days. Only had one full day there. Morning hike to Campground and around Edinburgh in the morning. Afternoon ised fire pit by the river watched a football game on the tablet we brought. Roasted a few marshmallows. Generous check in and check out times, very good high-speed Internet. "

"We loved this rental. It’s tucked away a little bit so it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. We were able to spend some time by the fire without any traffic noise or light pollution. It has several sections of the house where we could have some time to ourselves if we wanted. It was very easy to find. We just put the address into our gps and it took us straight there. We also cooked a few meals so the kitchen had enough utensils,pots, pans, cutting boards etc for what we needed. We did have...

About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself.
