"Our little 3 night get away to Manhattan Beach was just what we needed. The restaurant was open on Sunday, but was closed on Monday and Tuesday due to this being a slower time of year for them. "The space was just right. It was nice to have the room at the table for everyone to eat together. The first night my mother in-law triped and fell on the lip between the pool and the main room. "We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!"

"ShangriLa lives up to its name, tucked away with a private drive separate from the adjoining neighborhood. Much of the time we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. "The kitchen area was very nice, the accommodations were above average other than the beds left a lot to be desired and not a lot of options for comfortable seating inside. There was a lot of seating at the table and the bar but only 1 oversized comfortable chair. Not a lot of shade to sit outside and it can get pretty hot as the sun is going dow .
