"Had a friendly greeting, the gentleman at reception came and got our bags from the car and bought them in, he also upgraded our room if we wanted and we accepted. Lovely comfy beds and clean ironed bed linen. All items in kitchen what we needed and a tea/ coffee/ milk and sugar welcome pack. Will definitely go there again."

"Was a lovely stay, great set up and location, perfect for lots of shopping and good food, the only downside was that the shower was not very hot at all, after a long day in the cold a hot shower was something we really needed, so we did spend most of our stay freezing unfortunately, bed was very comfy and was fabulous that you could connect your own Netflix to the TV, thank you for a nice weekend away :)"

"Great fir a weekend for two in Brighton, very central, lovely location. Lovely apartment, basic but everything you need and everything worked as expected. Lots of stairs, not abproblem for us, but worth noting. Would definitely use again."

"Excellent communication with host, and the property was just as described. Being very close to the train station it's very easy to get to Brighton. A few minutes walk away is an excellent pub - The New Port Arms and a well reviewed cafe/restaurant The Port Kitchen. Would definitely stay there again."

"It was a lovely flat with plenty of space but we were disappointed with the condition. The shower and toilet were very dirty and the sofa had all the seat cushion zips broken and the stuffing hanging out. Was not worth the money we paid and there was no welcome from the owners or information about local events etc."

"We had a wonderful weekend in Brighton and can’t thank the host enough for allowing us to stay. On arrival we were a little concerned at how little the cottage seemed in comparison to the photos but actually it was perfect. Location couldn't be better, and big space with comfy large bed, TV with smart features etc for far cheaper than any other Brighton hotel that offers a lot less. "The property really couldn’t have been any better for our weekend celebrating my sister’s hen party. The location was perfect - central, seconds from the sea and near to all of our planned activities. The communal areas were fantastic, especially the large dining area. "The Grand is an iconic hotel with lots of character, but is now looking a little tired in places…chipped paint, thick layers of paint, dented wood / door frames, worn carpets (in high traffic areas), dated bathrooms..etc, hence there is a multi million pound refurbishment plan in place…to bring it back into the spotlight as the top hotel in Brighton. But the rooms are of good size, huge beds, everything is of good quality and the staff are excellent, from the very curtious door staff to the breakfast crew. We have been coming here for years and particularly like the atmosphere at Christmas, with the enormous Christmas tree and decorated spiral bannister…"
