"The cottage was dirty, the kitchen smelt of grease and all the pots where dirty. It smelt very fusty like it had been left unused for a long time. Beds where very uncomfortable, my wife described it as the worst nights sleep she has ever had. None of my kids could sleep either. Left after the first night and had to spend more money to stay somewhere. When I mentioned all this to the host they completely ignored me and stopped responding to my messages."

Only downside would be address instructions as it seemed to imply trim street Westgate properties so I of course went to trim street. "Lovely, quiet property, right in the heart of Bristol. The flat is beautiful, with lots of places to sit and chill. Complimentary soaps, coffee and tea, and they had even chilled a decanter in the fridge for me to put water in. Lovely attention to detail! I booked this last minute, so it was really too big for just one person, but I would imagine a group of friends or a family would have lots of fun here. My only complaint is that the higher speed WiFi didn't work and the smart TV wasn't...

"This is our second year staying at Bristol Redcliffe; it is in ideal base for travelling around Bristol and into Bath--great bus, coach, and train services--and there's good coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, and markets close by. Daughter said could feel springs in pull out sofa but not too much to grumble about. A great position off the Clifton triangle so walk pretty much anywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. "We booked this property for a few nights and received exceptional care from Mark the host who was warm, welcoming and accomodating with great suggestions of where we could visit nearby. The value for money is excellent as there are large rooms with all the comforts of a home. We will most definitely be staying here again within the next year and hope to exlpore more of the Cotswolds from this excellent, central location. "

"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"My wife and I paid £71 for one night which included breakfast. We chose this hotel because it had on-site underground parking and was located close to the Bristol City centre. We were surprised with the quality of our stay given the price. The room was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed. The bathroom had a deep bathtub and a nice shower. What really surprised us was the selection of food on offer. We only had breakfast but I have to say, this is probably the best hotel I've used in the UK when it came to variety of food and drink for breakfast. We’ll definitely use Novotel again. "
