"The place is very reasonable priced. Location: 10-15 minute walk to nearest subway and 1 hour ride away from the city centre. But it is next to a crossroad so if find it difficult to sleep with noise this might be a deal breaker. Price wise the location is great. Service The personnel is very friendly. There is 24/7 someone behind the desk. The personnel is very helpfull with questions like trips and restaurants. English is not their strong suit. But simple stuff, check in, check out or...

"One of the most luxurious hotel that I have been to in China. Rooms were expansive with a modern touch to them. Too bad I could only stay for one night only."

"Nice hotel for the price. Clean, well sized rooms. Breakfast has a nice selection of chinese and western foods. One thing to note, but it is a reflection of chinese culture, not a criticism of the Hotel directly, there are no atms in the Hotel or vicinity. Most things in China are paid by WeChat through phone payments. Cash isn’t common, so isn’t alwats easy to get. Part of the issue is that there is nothing near the hotel and I mean nothing. "

"I booked a deluxe sing big bed room. But what I stayed was a room without windows and bad smell in the room. Apart from this, the restaurant in the hotel was not open to the guests during the lunch time. The reason was that they were entertaining a delegation. This is ridicules. "

"Very warm and approachable staff. We can speak Mandarin, so language was not a problem for us. There is also a lobby security staff there, making us feel very safe. Walking distance (about 5min slow walk) to wangfujing street. And hotel downstairs have a convenient shop as well. Maybe they can consider placing more chairs around the lobby."

"This is the first hotel which I need to stay so long - 8D7N. Hence I read the reviews carefully when I was deciding which hotel to book. My family and I were very pleased to have stayed in Westin Chao Yang. The staff we met were all very polite and helpful. The family deluxe room has two queen size beds. I could loan amenities such as a fan, a humidifier and different types of pillows and I could adjust the temperature for a comfortable sleep at night. The pool was heated to 28 degrees and it is 1.2m to 1.5 m deep with a life guard. There are also hot and cold "spring water", steam and sauna rooms in the female restroom with shower rooms and lockers. I did not order breakfast and asked hotel concierge for help for direction to places for breakfast and buying local products. It is easy to get transport around through DiDi. The hotel is currently doing some maintenance work but noise is bearable. I will definitely like to stay in this hotel if I visit Beijing again."
