"We stayed at the Chateau Lacombe 46 years ago when we got married. We were young and completely amazed by the property. To us it was stunning and grand and classy. Now, all these years later, with some experience under our belts, we can see it for what it is - a nice hotel in downtown Edmonton. She is aging, and it shows. Our room was comfortable, though the beds and pillows were very hard. I had to ask for an extra blanket as the ones on the bed were super thin. They still have drip style...
