No complaints, just one suggestion
I’ll stay here again for sure. With knee problems, the ramp was very useful. Mainly because the railings on the steps are super wobbly and need to be secured. One day they’ll break and someone will go flying down the steps onto the parking lot.

Location to shops, restaurants, parks and beach. The unit was clean and cozy. Parking was great for the location! Bathroom was clean and well stocked, good quality towels! Could use better lighting and the TV was small! Overall it was just what we wanted for a short getaway!

Great place forba work trip. Close to shopping, coffee, walking on the bay with great wifi. This isnt the Ritz Carlton, but it clean, conforable and close to my favorite place to eat on the coast.

Great location, good price
We love that you can walk to everything. Good view. Overall good value basic room. I’d say the only I didn’t like was the bathroom door and a tiny tv so far away from the sitting area. We like to watch movies at night when we’re on vacation and it was not very comfortable. It would be nice if there was a coffee table or something to put drinks on. But if you just need a room to sleep in, I would definitely recommend it. I do also like the patio outside the room but only if you’re on the upper level.

Pros: Easy, remote check in. Good location for walking in town. Cons: Our room obviously wasn't cleaned. There was old, smelly food in the fridge, old coffee pod in the coffee maker with no new pods, a dirty mug in the microwave, a single filthy cup, trash under the bed, and a condom in the dresser. The door handle is broken, so you can't even lock the door from the inside. They have an old broom handle to "jam" the sliding door from the inside but it can still be opened about 6" because the broom handle is too short. To unlock or lock from the outside, it's literally a padlock. The rental is managed by Vacasa, and they did send house keeping out to clean the room the second day we were there. However, then went to take a shower and the shower handle popped off and couldn't be used. Because I knew how to disassemble the handle, I was able to access the screw and tighten it in to use it. But for the price we paid, it is insane that this even had to be done. Vacasa sent in a "request to management" for a refund, but obviously we haven't heard anything back as of yet. Not worth the money. Very disappointed and will never use the service again.

Some issues
The lock broke. While management and maintenence were helpful, we still had to stay with a makeshift security situation for the weekend. Also, there were long hairs in one of the "clean" towels. There was no shelf in the little fridge, just a produce drawer, and the place just smed a little run down. That said, great location, and good stay otherwise.

Love our stay!
We had a great time staying in Yachats. and loved the little town. The room was comfortable and perfectly located so we could walk anywhere in town. We were able to bring our dog which was very important to us. The only thing we didn't like is the heater cover in the bathroom was really dirty. Otherwise, we felt it was clean. Definitely the upper group of rooms have the best view! The ocean park is a short walk from the inn and has wonderful tide pools. We had a great time walking our dog along the river and picking blackberries which were delicious. We thought the best place in town to eat was the Drift Inn which is right next door. They have a great pet friendly patio and a cool pond under the bar area. We loved exploring Cape Perpetua and taking hikes in the park. The whale spouting in front of the inn was really cool (you will have to see it to understand!) The housekeeper Trinity was a lot of help and really friendly. We highly recommend this inn.

The view was nice but room could have been cleaner.
The carpet had a crushed grape on it and the coffee table had food crumbs so it could have been cleaner. The shelves in the refer were missing. The bed was comfortable and it had a nice view. Great places nearby to eat. They just need to work on house keeping.

Great view, friendly renters on either side of me. Disappointed in non working.clogging bathroom sink, dirty silverware, lose bathroom sink handles...afraid they would come off. Dirty frig..huck in the rubber basket. Directions for Kuerig coffee maker would have been nice :) Comfy bed and room. Sweet ambiance other then what I mentioned

Good stay in town
The property was great. It was clean, the location was super walkable to shops and restaurants. There wasn't a lot of privacy as people had to walk by our glass door to get to their rooms. There was also a fair amount of noise from the bars during the weekend nights and a super early (like 6am) trash pick up on Saturday morning. Regardless, still a great stay.

The room was clean and the hotel is close to beautiful beaches and town. But the curtains the cover the whole front window and entry door was falling apart and broken. It would not close so we had to pull them across each ather and prop them shut with furniture. Will not stay here again

Easy, person-free check in. Directions were clear and concise. Parking was right out front and easy walk to great food and shops! The WiFi was weak, but I feel like that was good so we wouldn’t be on our phones as much!

Perfect central location
Within a couple minutes walk to the restaurants and shops in town, with a decent view of the ocean from the room. Made for a great weekend exploring the town of Yachats!

We really enjoyed our stay in Yachats. I did not realize this was a converted motel, thinking it was more like 'mini cabins,' so that was disappointing. I loved Yachats, but if I stayed there again, I would probably try to find a cottage that did not have shared walls. It is a great location for walking to the beach and great restaurants, but it is a little noisy since it is right off the 101.

Probably will stay in the normal hotel next time that is typical of visits. This place is clean, close to everything and has a nice view but the cleaning fee is excessive considering they don't actually clean during your stay and the bed too firm for my taste (the bed is purely personal preference though).

Cute, clean quiet little retreat in the wonderful town of Yachats!
Our experience was lovely at this little place. It is close to everything in town and we only used our car to explore up and down the coast. Otherwise we used our feet all over town and on the beach. Great views, clean, and comfortable, also a very nice guy managing the place. The only negative is that I booked through VRBO and incurred all the extra fees. Next time I will book directly through the management company that operates this place so I don't get charged more than necessary. 5 stars to the location and facilities, 2 to VRBO for all the charges.

Shell room... yes it was cute, yes it was clean and yes it was hot in the room. Even with slider open for an hour we couldn't cool the room down and it was only 65 outside. There was a breeze every where else at the coast but not there. There is a window across the room that would have created a cross breeze but we couldn't get it open. After many attempts we called the number that is given to call if you have any questions. The recording on the other side said they were busy with another customer and to leave a number and they would call right back. Well we have since checked out and it has been 30 hours since the call and they still haven't called. Not a good way to run a business. For $145 it would have been nice to have a cross breeze. No air conditioning. Also they left 3 coffees, the first one was ruined by the curdled cream packets. We had to drink it without cream. No one to call. I generally would talk to the business before I leave a semi negative review but again, no one to call. I am leaving 3 stars because every one else is leaving 4 and 5. So maybe it was a fluke. Still not happy for the price. I could have stayed at the Alsea resort for $75 but I thought this would be better. Maybe it was, I have never stayed there either. So I was just asked by Vacasa to leave a review. After I submitted it it says "Please note that we share all guest reviews received with our management teams and homeowners to celebrate successes and enable improvement when needed; additionally, we publish the reviews we find most useful and informative for potential guests on Vacasa.com" So maybe that is why there is only 4-5 star reviews. Good to know Vacasa. I doubt I will use Vacasa again since they don't share all reviews.

Adorable place and great location
We enjoyed our stay in the "Shell" unit. Very cute place with a nice deck in front and view of the bay. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Had a great dinner at the Drift Inn, and coffee and breakfast to die for at the Green Salmon.
