The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. "A beautiful property with a big outdoor space. A 20-30min drive will get you to plenty of lovely walks and sites- rivers, monasteries, beaches, animal parks. There’s a farm opposite which our children enjoyed watching the tractors come and go and the cows in the fields. Supermarket is a 10min drive. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and equipment. The housekeeper meet us on arrival and at departure and there was speedy communication when we had a power cut. A lovely stay enjoyed by all"

"We have stayed twice at this excellent hotel travelling from and to the UK. Good secure parking right next to the hotel. Pet friendly except your pet cannot go in the breakfast room. Very clean. Two local restaurants 2 minutes walk away. we have used the burger/beer bar twice and it is excellent. Nearby McDonalds if you just want a snack."
