"It's a classic case of "you get what you pay for". The photos online make the place look a bit fancier than it really is. That said, considering it's a budget hotel, the rooms are surprisingly big. "Do not stay there. They scammed me. When I got there they told me that the room was not reserved although I had made sure to call them and confirmed my reservation by phone a month prior to the reservation date. After spending half hour discussing back and forth, they found my Expedia reservation but asked me to wait because the room I requested was not available and they had to make up a room. I waited and got checked in. I got the room. But then they asked me to cancel the reservation because...

"The area was nice as it was off in it's own corner away from the busy downtown streets, was no issue getting a Grab to go anywhere as well. Staff was always nice and inviting and there was a piano they allowed you to play in the bar area. The bar/club downstairs was interesting but the music they played was extremely loud so we had to sit far in the back away to hear/talk to people."

"I loved the breakfasts and the friendly staff,especially the willingness of the cleaning staff to accommodate everything I needed. I like that there are many dining options. My only wish was that there should have been a brochure of a sort informing guests of all the stores/restaurants downstairs. Be sure to see me again next trip!"

"My first stay at Hotel G for 2 nights. I enjoyed the eco-friendly and minimalist approach in the hotel design. A differentiation from the heritage hotels and Burmese-styled inns in Yangon. I am delighted by the efficient and friendly arrival and check-in. Room was very clean. Pillows and bed were firm and fresh. The front counter staff are young, cheerful and enthusiastic. Overall, Hotel G has a positive welcoming vibe. Great job !"
