"This is a great option instead of a motel for your stay in the area. Very quiet clean and beautiful location are good reasons to stay here. Be advised though, there are no staff available at the facility and no one answered or returned my phone call. If you have issues like I did with the building entry code, you’re on your own."

"We spent a few days thru a blizzard at Bailey’s Places. It’s cozy and comfy and well appointed. Definitely feels more like a family house than generic vacation rental. The kingvale community is calm and quiet, easy transportation-wise."

"Overall the rental met all the needs for our trip. It was a cozy house in a great location with great view of donner lake. Love the balcony. However the upstairs loft was not as clean as wanted. The bed upstairs was stained with pet markings and smelled a little musky. But other than that, the rental met our needs. Another issue we did face was the parking. Initially the instructions for parking was not clear and we had to call vacasa to verify where to park. It was completely different from the check in details. Be prepared to carry all your stuff up and down many stairs since there is no driveway."
