"Very nice experiencing the traditional Japanese culture, including the hot springs and the food. The staffs are nice and food are delicious. It is very relaxing. Even though, the staffs are mostly from foreign places, they still are able to provide the traditional Japanese experience. "

"Stayed overnight on a weekend trip to Yufuin. This accommodation is a gem of a place. The staff are very attentive and are present from check in to check out, whether arriving early to drop off your bags, in the restaurants or for the hot baths. They have private and public baths. The public baths are open all day 6am to 2 am, the private mornings and evenings just past midnight. You can book the private bath for your own party for 50 minutes. I had it all to myself. The breakfast and dinner are traditional Japanese and are delicious. Overall a great stay, highly recommended."

"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted. Their breakfast and dinner is absolutely amazing and gives you a truly genuine Japanese food experience. The villas/homes on the property are tradition style and are very spacious and clean. The landscape of the property is quiet and offers you a peaceful onsen experience. The best part about Nihon No Ashitaba is the impeccable service and generosity of their staff. Yuji in particular, really cared for us and worked hard to make our stay the best experience ever! Thank you so much for the wonderful time in Yufuin!"

"We had an amazing experience staying in Ryokan Seikoen. Service of all staff is top-notch. They would ask for your approx chech-in time and staff will be in the parking lot greeting you and taking care of your luggage as well as parking. The flow of meals, private onsen reservation etc were all very well explained. Dinner is a very nice Kaiseki with wagyu beef. We initially had some doubts since room does not have individual shower. You have to use the one in public bath. However, later we found it's not a problem as you would shower in the onsen anyways. After enjoying the excellent Japanese style breakfast, (and there is also child option for meals), the staff all waved goodbye to us upon check-out. The whole experience is an amazing Japanese hospitality and we will definitely visit again if we come back to Yufuin."
