"A quieter area of the city, perfect for families of you want to avoid the stag/hen dos and the crowds. However, still noisy if you need to open the window (kebab shop right outside and a busy road). Check in was easy via WhatsApp message. Amenities were ok, although we couldn't figure out the coffee machine and we did need to clean the sink area. Some noise from other visitors - folk returning from nights out at 3am etc. Close proximity to the maritime museum, a little further walk gets you to...

"Managers on duty, Alexandra at first then Finn, both excellent. We had an issue with TV not working, sorted quickly by moving us to another room. A bit more detail on cleaning would be a good thing, showed issues to Alexandra. Overall a very happy stay Nigel and caroline"

"Just far enough outside of the city to be really natural and not touristy. It’s a brisk 15 minute walk from the train station maybe 20. It’s on a rather long pier with incredible views of the water and some of the wind that goes with it, but it was worth it!"

"Brilliant apartment for a city break holiday. We stayed in the 4 bed two level studio apartment. It was located up 4 flights of steep windy Dutch stairs but you swiftly got the hang of how to navigate them. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was only the bathroom mirror which sometimes made getting ready a challenge. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

Rooms had their linen changed but the living room and kitchen was pretty dirty still.. bathroom and toilet were good.. if you have a lot of luggage, suggest ask for a ground floor apartment as the lift was not working and the stairs were tight and steep.. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was located very conveniently for museums and galleries, as well as the proximity to the tram and restaurants. The neighbourhood is also a lovely place to wander about and felt safe during the evening (though, you take your life in your hands crossing the cycle lane). The owners are clearly still working on the property as there was a lot of banging and hammering at 7am which may not be ideal if you've had a late night or like to sleep in....
