Stayed here 2 nights, lots of decent restaurants within walking distance. Spa was very nice but busy, massage was fine. Great location to Parma and Modena, nice boutique hotel would definitely stay here again

Beautiful property. Front desk Staff amazing, exceptional 10/10. Hotel was far from tourist attractions and did not have a car . Taxis pretty expensive. You would want to rent a car when you are staying here.

A joy to celebrate my husband's special birthday here. We enjoyed 3 nights of wonderful care and help from a brilliant, attentive reception team, especially Sara and Richard. Nikolai was so kind driving us to places to eat in the village in the evening. A special shout out for the young barman, whose name I didnt get, whose English is exceptional. The hotel is ideally placed for the village, the island and the Unesco Sacro Monte. The Couples Symposium in the Wellness Suite was a real treat. The two therapists were friendly and professional and gave us a fabulous treatment. The exceptional meal in the restaurant was the best treat of all, innovative, delicious.a wonderful experience, alongside a very good wine flight and excellent service.

"The hotel appeared a bit old from the exterior but our room was actually in an upgraded area of the hotel and was quite comfortable. We even had a view of the old city centre on the hill. The location is fabulous as it's close to the funicular to the old town as well as being close to the city centre ..."
