"In einer schönen Lage gelegen (im grünen und am Wasser) haben wir eine schöne Woche verbracht. Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. "Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"The hotel was easily accessible from the train station, it's about 15 minutes walk from the center of Meppel but we were able to rent e-bike from them and that was super convenient. The staff was super helpful, a lot of college aged students, all were English speakers, and they have a good bar and restaurant. The only complaint was the extras from the bar were quite pricey, but overall very good stay"

Nice hotel with great team and excellent food

"First time stopping here. Friendly welcome with parking on site. Good team of staff and interesting dining options too. Room was nice and very quiet location. Had a couple of beers on the bar and caught up on some work. Then went to the Japanese restaurant area next door and enjoyed the novelty iPad ordering system, where you can order up to 5 small plates at a time and then it resets after 10 mins and you can order again. It was an easy stay and I would probably stay again when next in the area."
