A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants.

Our stay at Zanzibar Coffee House was great and unforgettable. The room was a room to remember, with great architecture. The personell and facilities were amazing. The breakfast was good, and the place was nearby everything you need in Stone Town. We will definitely come again if we are nearby, and would highly reccomend it to all travellers.

Zanzibar coffee house provides a unique stay in gorgeous rooms. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They provided recommendations of where to eat in Stone Town. They also make the best coffee! Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight for us. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend a stay here. Great location for discovering Stonetown. Noreen is a gem and everyone working at the Coffee House is top notch. Rooms are clean and perfect for whatever you need. The roof top allows amazing views and a huge breakfast is included.

Zanzibar Coffee House was a wonderful place to stay for three nights to explore Stone Town and its surroundings. Noreen and her staff were wonderful and very welcoming. I have stayed in many hotels for both work and leisure travel, and this hotel has to rate as one of the best I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Zanzibar.

Yu can drink good coffee in the roof garden, which is a calm and cool oasis in the middle of the bustling city. The staff are unusually committed to the hotel and its guests. I enjoyed the traditional Arabic architecture and rooms.

If you're the type of traveler who eats at McDonald's in other country's, then this property is probably not for you, but if you want to immerse in the local culture, its fantastic. Make sure you specify a bathroom in your room, unless you're ok with sharing, and make sure you arrange for a pickup at the airport for transportation to the hotel. The street is about 5 feet wide, and the van has to park a few blocks away. The area adjacent to the hotel is a lot like Marrakech, Morrocco with narrow streets and shops. The people are very friendly, and its safe, even though its very exotic. My Google maps worked well thank God to find our way around. The staff are very warm and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel. Andy H.

A little gem located in stone town.
The Zanzibar coffee House is the place to go if you want to have a true taste of hospitality. I can only recommend this accommodation. Noreen and her team are wonderful ladies. If you are looking to stay in the heart of Stonetown look no further. The coffee and breakfast is easily the best on the island and the staff are UNBELIEVABLE! My wife is 5 months pregnant and fell sick 2 days into our trip, without asking the staff made her a local tea that is supposed to help with nausea and other ailments. Herensha, one of the managers helped us book a spice tour and checked in with us everyday to ensure our stay was perfect. I cannot express enough how the staff turns this already great hotel into a must stay in zanzibar!

Outstanding performance by the staff! Had a great one night stay in this charmed small guest house. And you what a wonderful place to be a guest. The staff greeted me by my name and dit every thing in a high class hotel standard. The rooms, roof terrace, and other areas is clean and very cozy. I did not eat the free breakfast, but I enjoyed a delicious fresh coffee with a view. I highly recommend this place if you need accommodation within this price range. 😎🇹🇿❤️
