Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. Hans and Anna are perfect hosts, cheerful, friendly and very welcoming, and and their garden apartment that we stayed in was immaculate and fully equipped with everything that anyone would ever need. "Every thing was good at the house. It would have been great if heating would have been faster. We were feeling cold when we entered the house. Other than that every thing was really good."

Manfred was excellent at communicating with us, very prompt replies with good advice. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

"One night stay at the Moxy, for Europa Park. The hotel is in a great location for visits to Europa Park with just being a short walk away. The weather in January was cold but the hotel and our room was nice and warm. We had breakfast which was very good. The room was clean and modern with good amenities, it would have been nice if there was tea/coffeeaking facilities in the room. But the bar staff helped us with hot water. "

"I’d fully recommend this hotel for a stay when visiting Strasbourg. The tram is a 5 min walk and gets you straight into the markets and in the main station. The room was very comfortable and exactly what was needed for a base to go explore. The bed was huge and very comfy. The shower was powerful and hot. The only downside was there isn’t a baggage store once checked out. "
