Hotel Perren is an amazing gem with an outstanding view of the Matterhorn if you can get a room with the Mountain View. It is close to the stations for gonergrat and Klein Matterhorn/Glacier Paradise. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is small but the quality is excellent! The croissants are so fresh and the Schaere coffee machine makes amazing cappuccino and latte drinks with real Swiss milk. The Zermatt water is so refreshing and energizing, and it just starts every right! Highly recommended!

Loved the location of this property on a side street away from the busy main street but also very convenient from the train station and Gornergrat Railway. Also right next to the river with gorgeous views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay again!

Great location, beautiful property, wonderful balcony with view of Matterhorn. Lovely breakfast every morning . no AC which is common in Switzerland. If you sleep with the balcony doors open it’s breezy at night, but the sound of river is fairly loud so you are light sleeper That might be a problem . Overall we loved it. We would stay here again. They also have a ping-pong table and a game room and an honor system, snacks, and alcohol section in the lobby

Superb room/property. Well located within village with close proximity to all shops/stores. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is outstanding with many choices in elegant room. Next to Maddervisp River. Our room had a balcony with two chairs and table with direct view of the Matterhorn!

We had a great stay at the Alpine Hotel Perren. This hotel is a fantastic location and easily walkable to all the restaurants and shops in town. The complimentary breakfast buffet is great, the rooms are very nice and clean. We had a beautiful mountain view. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service
Toni is an excellent staff. She's soft spoken, courteous and welcoming. She told us all the information we need. The hotel itself is beautiful with nice views. They even setup a special birthday table for my husband with a postcard and small bottle of wine.

Stongly recommend the Hotel Perren. Conveniently located 5 minutes walk to everything, very spacious rooms, perfectly quiet, amazing breakfast buffet, spa, access to a nearby fitness center, restaurant on premise and very helpful staff. They even have a cozy area with foosball and family games. So glad I chose this hotel!
