"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

"I give this 4 stars and not 5 for only a single reason. The description is missing two key points of info. 1. This is a basement for rent and not a full house. People do live just up the stairs. 2. There is not a kitchen if you’re thinking of cooking. Only a mini fridge and a microwave with a small sink. That worked for me for my trip, but was unexpected when we arrived and could have been a planning issue. The owner was responsive and a great guy. Would recommend genuinely for a quiet stay. "

Although there are 3 bedrooms, the cabin is more suited for 2 couples, or 2 couples and children because of the layout of the upstairs. "My husband and I spent 9 nights at the Gnome Hill cottage. The cabin is very cute and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal including a couple times on the grill.
