"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. Nice alpine hotel

"Really nice and cozy alpine style hotel. Perfect location within a 3-min walk from the train station, ski bus, Gornergrat train, and the main street with all the shops and ski rental. Good breakfast selection, enough of healthy choices. Really enjoyed the sauna and hamam facilities, too."
