Haridwar & Rishikesh tour from Delhi is a 2 days experience of the twin holy towns in the lap of the Himalayas. At Rishikesh we will visit an Ashram for a Yoga session and then explore the iconic Beatles Ashram where the group was taught Yoga by Mahesh Yogi. We will also visit the majestic Ram Jhula suspension bridge over the Ganges River. At Haridwar we will visit Mansa Devi temple and the mesmerising Har ka Pauri Ghat on the Ganges River.

7AM– Drive down 240 KM from Delhi to Rishikesh which is called the gateway to the Himalayas. The River Ganga flows through this town famous for its many Ashrams courtesy its tranquil location. Following the Beatles The Beatles Ashram is the most fascinating attraction of Rishikesh, where Beatles were taught transcendental meditation by Maharshi Mahesh Yogi in 1960. In the Ashram, there are huts made of the pebbles of the river Ganges. Other highlights are the Yoga Hall and spiritual discourse studio.

It’s a great experience to stand on this iron suspension bridge over the river Ganges. It links Swarg Ashram on the western bank of River Ganga to the Sivananda Ashram on the eastern one.

You will join the group Yoga session in the Parmarth Niketan Ashram. It is the largest ashram in Rishikesh and is located on the banks of the river Ganga. The evening prayer at the banks of the River Ganga is an unforgettable experience filled with devotional song, prayer, ritual and a tactile sense of the divinity. The aarti, an ornate oil lamp, lined with dozens of flames burning in pure ghee is offered to the River Goddess.

The temple, considered to be very holy, is believed to have emerged from the mind of the great sage Kashyap

Haridwar is one of the most ancient pilgrimage centers in India that has been reverence from times immemorial. Hari means (Lord/God) and Dwar means Gateway. Har Ka Pauri is very popular because of the foot prints of Lord Vishnu. King Vikramaditya constructed this sacred ghat in memory of his brother Bhatrihari who it is believed had come to Haridwar to meditate.
