When was the last time you were anywhere with clouds below you? If not, the Mardi Himal Trek will undoubtedly afford you this chance, so long as you're prepared to take it on.
Located in the Annapurna Region, Mardi Himal is the mountain that can be seen in the foreground under Machhapuchhre (6,993 metres). Before it was formally inaugurated in 2012, the trail was unknown to hikers; yet, it is now a frequently frequented location that can be finished quickly.
This trip takes you along a ridge trail that provides breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges, which are to the west. The route begins at Kande, an upscale community perched on a hill; thereafter, it winds through a thick forest of oak and rhododendron trees in a mid-hilly region. Ascending the trail towards the north, you will find yourself near the mountain and away from the urbanised life below. After many days, crossing the lush woodland will lead to the open area designated as the indigenous people's pasture land. The sensation of enrapture will come next.
