The Medellín Metro is the denomination given to a network of mass transport systems that serves the city of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley in Antioquia. The subway was the first modern mass transit system in Colombia and remains the only subway system currently in the country.

Botero Square is a huge raised park that houses 23 monumental sculptures donated by Fernando Botero, the Museum of Antioquia is also located in this square in the best preserved Art Deco building in Colombia. Botero Square is located in front of the Antioquia Museum or the Botero Museum, which was also a donation from Fernando Botero. In this square or cultural and artistic park we find 23 bronze sculptures, which are located and distributed throughout the park, from its beginning to its end.

The Cisneros Square project is part of the process of transformation of the Guayaquil sector. Las Luces Park involves El Carré, El Vásquez and the Public Companies Library of Medellín. This interaction was raised to allow direct public access from the buildings to the square.

The Church of Veracruz is a religious temple of Catholic worship under the invocation of Vera Cruz or Santa Cruz, is located in the centre of the city of Medellin, Colombia, on the western side of the Plazuela de la Veracruz. It is one of the most representative temples of the city.

The National Palace is a building located in the centre of Medellín. It was designed in 1924 by Agustín Goovaerts and completed in 1933. In its origins, it had 88 public offices. In 1988 it was declared a Historical and Artistic Patrimony of the Nation and since 1993 it is a commercial centre.

Travellers travel a replica of a typical twentieth-century Antioquia town - with church and mayor's office - on the top of Nutibara hill, which rises 80 m above the Aburrá valley. From this site, where there are typical food restaurants and craft shops, you get a good view of Medellin.
