Newlands Corner is a popular beauty spot. Here you can take in some serious inspiration while admiring the breathtaking views across the Surrey Hills. You can have a little walk or buy a hot drink with a cake at the cute family run coffee - the Plucky Pheasant -while reflecting on the the time spent together before we slowly return back to our meeting point. Let's hope all good thoughts and amazing memories! Agatha Christie, the famous English crime novelist and playwright staged her disappearance from Newlands Corner in 1926 which caused a public outcry, the whole country was looking for her. She was found 11 dyas later at the Old Swan Spa in Harrogate where she checked in under her husband's mistress name. I am sure there was some " stress" involved.
