This migration is one of nature's most remarkable wildlife spectacles. The sheer number of wildebeest arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles in a seasonal, annual cycle driven by rainfall. Wildebeest make dramatic river crossings and face enormous crocodiles to reach the new grazing fields and regain their strength. November's short rains trigger the last leg of the migration when the wildebeest move south to Serengeti. You will return to the tented camp for dinner and your overnight stay budget camp.
