Day 1: Arrival
Departure from home country. Arrival to Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Yerevan City Tour / Cafesjian Centre for the Arts / The Genocide Memorial “Tsitsernakaberd”
The Republic Square & the Opera & Ballet Theatre, projected by the architect of Yerevan Aleksander Tamanyan.
Cascade Monument, one of the most famous landmarks of Yerevan.
Lunch in Armenian traditional restaurant. Genocide memorial “Tsitsernakaberd” & Mother Armenia Monument.
Day 3: Yerevan / Echmiadzin / Zvartnots /Vernissage / Yerevan
Echmiadzin Cathedral - the religious centre for all the Armenian. Armenia was the first country in the world to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301. The cathedral was listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000.
Zvartnots Cathedral one of the medieval Armenian cathedrals built in the seventh century. The ruins of Zvartnots Temple are designated by Unesco as World Heritage Site.
Lunch in Armenian local restaurant.
Vernissage, a large open-air exhibition-market in Yerevan.
Day 4: Yerevan / Khor Virap / Birds’ Cave / Noravank / Yerevan
Khor Virap Monastery, one of the most important sanctuaries of Armenians, located at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat.
Birds’ Cave which represents a rocky room with niches & aisles, which was inhabited in different epochs by ancient civilisations.

Noravank monastery, located in an impressive canyon & considered one of the jewels of Armenian architecture.
Day 5: Yerevan / Matenadaran / Garni / “Lavash” baking masterclass / Geghard / Yerevan
Matenadaran, a depository of ancient manuscripts.
Geghard, a medieval monastery declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. According to tradition The Geghard Monastery was founded by Saint Gregory in the 4th century on the site of a sacred spring. The current constructions of the monastery, which are partially excavated in the rock, date from the 13th century.
Garni Temple is the only preserved pagan temple in the entire territory of the Caucasus dedicated to the Sun God.
Lunch in Armenian local restaurant. You will take part in “lavash” baking masterclass.
Day 6: Yerevan / Lake Sevan / Dilijan / Haghartsin / Yerevan
Sevanavank monastery, made up of two churches dating back to the 9th century. The monastery is located on the peninsula of Lake Sevan which was an island. From the peninsula, there is a beautiful view of Lake Sevan.
Dilijan city: “Sharambeyan Street”, a real trip back into 19th century's Armenia.
Haghartsin, which is a 13th century complex. It has very picturesque surroundings nested cosily in the forest.

Day 7: Departure
According to the flight time, transfer to the airport.
