In these 8 days we will climb 3 of the biggest mountains in
Mexico, Malinche, Iztaccíhuatl and Pico de Orizaba, the tip
from Mexico.
This trip is designed to have a good acclimatisation to the
while we enjoy the wonderful mountains that
Mexico can offer, we will also know the tourist sites
most important of the areas.

The first day we will climb the Malinche, which is the 5th largest mountain in the country. To climb the mountain, a day of acclimatisation is necessary, it has truly impressive views.

Iztaccíhuatl is a beautiful mountain with two glaciers, and although it is not a highly technical mountain, it does require excellent physical condition due to the height and the time it will take to reach the top.

The Pico de Orizaba, the tip of Mexico, is one of the most complete mountains that our country has. This volcano will let you appreciate the magnificent Jamapa glacier that will take us to the top.

Day 1: Arrival day- Teotihuacán

We will meet at the meeting point, we will visit Teotihuacán, a pyramidal site recognised by UNESCO as cultural heritage. Teotihuacán was the seat of power of one of the most influential Mesoamerican societies in the political, economic, commercial, religious and cultural spheres. Later, you will be transferred to the lodging in Huamantla.
Day 2: Malinche Hike (4400m)

We will ascend Malinche, the fifth highest peak high of Mexico It is located 3 hours from the city from Mexico. We will return to sleep in the lodging from Huamantla.
Day 3: Visit Huamantla and stay at the Iztaccíuhatl

We will spend the day visiting the historic city of Huamantla. It is designated as the "Magical" Town of Mexico. Later we will spend the night in the Iztacciuhatl volcano, in camp.
Day 4: Ascent to the Iztaccíhuatl volcano (5,200m)

We will ascend the Iztaccíhuatl volcano, the third highest peak in Mexico. It is a beautiful mountain with two glaciers, and despite not being a very technical mountain, it does require excellent physical condition due to the height and the time it will take to reach the top. We will move to Puebla to sleep.

We will visit the historic Cholula, Puebla. . The city was built on the foundations of an important indigenous city where various temples were built, on which Catholic temples were later built. We will sleep again in Puebla.

We will travel to Piedra Grande. It is an alpine lodge that at its height of 4260 masl is a perfect place to rest and acclimatise. Night in the shelter or tent (according to availability at the time). There will be an acclimatisation walk.

Climb Pico de Orizaba, the highest peak in Mexico. Being the tip of Mexico, it is one of the most complete mountains that our country has, since it begins with a sand bank, then we will have a rocky area called "the labyrinth" and at the end the magnificent Jamapa glacier that will take us to the top. Later, we will travel back to your lodging in Mexico City.
