The path overlooked by the ancient ruins of the Francavilla Castle winds along mule tracks that run alongside the Alcantara river offering suggestive observation points. Accompanied by explanations in Italian, English and French from our guides, we will learn about many curiosities of these enchanted places. Afterwards, returning further downstream of the river, an adrenaline-filled 2-hour Body Rafting excursion will begin among the Alcantara Gorges, accompanied by instructors in Italian and English, we will be carried away by the rapids among the lava basalts. Upon request, you can continue the tour with a travelling lunch organised by the “Le Mamme del Borgo” association of Motta Camastra, a small culinary journey through the medieval streets of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The excursion is offered with a “pick-up” service directly from your hotel or with a “meeting point” to be agreed. Possibility to vary the route for different needs, specific requests or to satisfy any curiosity.
