Know before you book

  • You must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk in unpaved or uneven terrain.
  • This activity is wheelchair accessible, please check before you go.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a swimming costume, hat, insect repellent, sun cream.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.

What you can expect

Simply book and enjoy the trip… We will personally take care of all the necessary arrangements for you (national park entrance ticket, return transport from your hotel or booking a convenient parking area if you are driving a hire car or your own, or any additional requests in advance to help you create a great visit to Manuel Antonio National Park.

NOTE: When booking this tour it is imperative that you (traveller) send us (tour operator) an email to: manuelstourscr@gmail.com with each adult participant's full name, passport or driving licence number and nationality, for children (2-11 years) and infants (1-2 years) we only require their full names. Your entrance ticket to the National Park is already included but can only be purchased online, therefore your names, passport numbers and nationalities are required to complete the information on the official national park ticketing website. After meeting with you, we will outline all the details about the logistics of the tour, the possible areas we will visit, and will clear up any concerns you may have. As naturalist tour guides, we will begin the tour by describing to you all the local flora and fauna we will encounter during our 2-3 HOUR GUIDED WALK, explaining and educating you about what makes Costa Rica such a bio-diverse part of the world.

All of our experiences are DESIGNED exclusively FOR SMALL GROUPS (MAXIMUM 4-6 PEOPLE). We will do our best to avoid the standard large tour operator groups as we head in the opposite direction.

If you are looking to capture unique and amazing photos of the animals you see on the tour, we will personally take professional HD photos and videos with our spotting scopes and share all the photos with you at the end of the activity.

DON'T FORGET TO PACK SWIMSUITS AND TOWELS if you are considering enjoying the beach areas within the national park.
