What you can expect

Joining in this tour, we will bring you to taste Amphawa's yummy local flavours along the canal. Some merchants cook and sell goods on their longtail boats. Some have small shops along the canal. Certainly, food is fresh and cook right there. There are a lot of seafood meal shops, Thai – Chinese cooking dishes, desserts made of coconut, drinks, fresh fruit, and local liqueurs.

13.30: Meet our tour guide at the lobby of your Bangkok hotel. Journey to Samut Songkhram which is 1.5 hours away from Bangkok.

15.30: On the way, you will visit the Train Market, a famous market that train runs through the market before arriving at Mea Klong train station. Observe the exciting moment when the siren rang, the vendors move their goods to clear a passageway for the train.
Walking a long the train trek and able to get the chance to shop local food. Perfect to observe Thai cooking ingredient here.

16.00: Move to Amphawa Floating Market. Observe around an area by walking on the boardwalk. The Amphawa Canal is full with vendors which their boats fill with foods and drinks, such as duck noodle, fried sea mussel, somtam with soft shell crabs, grilled chicken, coffee, O-liang (iced black coffee), sweets, noodles, etc. Every weekend and Friday, people can enjoy a cosy atmosphere and music broadcast by the community members, adventure in the market, and taste the food, snack and drink.

You could also shop for souvenir and handmade stuff such as t-shirts, notebooks, dress, handbags, traditional hat, painted cups, pen and painting.
After a long walk, you can easily find a cool coffee shop, and pub with cosy atmosphere and a live music or broadcast by community members.

18.30: Join a boat ride to see fireflies at night.
20:00: Amphawa floating market tour comes the end and time to say goodbye
Transfer back to your hotel to Bangkok City Central.
