From Arbatax to Villagrande Strisaili, you will pass the “Bau Muggeris” lake before entering the Gennargentu massif, surrounded by wild nature. You will cross the Pirincanes River and then arrive at Nuraghe Ruinas at 1200 metres above sea level, where you will make a short stop and enjoy a fantastic view. Get back in 4x4, our expert guide will take you to the Girgini Forest and then to Desulo, to discover this beautiful country. Then, typical local lunch of the shepherds and afternoon at 1700 metres altitude at “Erba Irdes”, from where you will enjoy an incredible breathtaking view, before returning.

- One hour stop in Desulo and visit the village and its murals, with the possibility to visit the Museum of traditional costumes
- Lunch at a sheepfold by the shepherds
- After lunch, in the afternoon direction to “Erba Irdes”, where you can admire an incredible breathtaking panorama

The typical lunch at a sheepfold of local shepherds usually includes the menu of the day, which therefore can vary depending on availability: mix from four to eight earth starters (such as meats, cheeses and vegetables), grilled meat, wine and water.
