You will leave Aveiro, in a SUV, and head towards the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo and Museum Ship Santo André, passing by the salt pans and the trestles where the codfish used to be dried, on the way.
The adventure through the history of our faithful friend, will end in an informal setting in our home, which is located in the centre of Aveiro. You will experience a variety of traditional dishes like were made by the fisherman themselves in the cod fishing boats (Bacalhoeiros)

. Maritime Museum of Ílhavo. An important testimony to the strong connection of man to the sea and the Aveiro estuary. Witness the stories and traditions of cod fishing, as well as visit the museum’s star attraction- the great cod aquarium.
. Museum Ship Santo André, a former cod fishing boat, or ‘Bacalhoeiro’. You can see what life at sea was like and the activities that were done on board, from the treatment of the fish to details of the precarious way of life at sea.
