What you can expect

The Bangkok Bike Tour at Night offers an enchanting and thrilling way to experience the city’s vibrant nightlife and illuminated landmarks. This guided cycling tour takes you through Bangkok’s quieter streets, temples, and riverside areas after sunset, allowing you to see a different side of the city when the bustling daytime crowds have thinned. The cooler evening air makes the ride more comfortable, while the stunning night views create a magical atmosphere for exploring.

Make your own way to the meeting point by 17:30 hours to be fitted with the correct size bike and helmet and to hear the Briefing. Please be sure you are there in plenty of time, because at 18:00 hours sharp it is time to begin peddling through small lane-ways, staying off the larger roads as much as possible, past ancient temples to see the real heart and soul of Bangkok.

After passing through Thammasat University we cross the mighty 'River of Kings', Chao Phraya River, by ferry to cycle thr quiet back roads to Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn. With few tourists at night and the floodlights gazing over the temple, this illuminated site is truly spectacular at night.

The next stop is the unforgettable and world-famous Bangkok flower market, the largest wholesale flower market in Thailand. We visit at the market's busiest time when the market is full of colour and activity. On the walk through you’ll be treated to some of Thailand’s iconic street food. Next is Wat Pho and although The Reclining Buddha is closed to visitors at night, the temple grounds are magical, with beautifully illuminated spires covered in mosaics. Exploring the peaceful temple grounds in the cooler evening air is almost like having a private tour of your own. We pass the Grand Palace to Sanam Luang and cycle again through back streets of Bangkok’s historic old city before we finish at the cycle shop.

Riding after dark in Bangkok is an adventure with much of it down narrow lane-ways and quiet backstreets. There is the odd main road to cross, but this is done together in an organised manner.

The Bangkok Bike Tour at Night is a captivating way to explore the city's vibrant culture and iconic landmarks under the glow of lights. Whether you're interested in history, architecture, or simply enjoying a unique night out, this tour offers a memorable and refreshing perspective on Bangkok’s charm after dark.
